A Brief Overview
Responsible for managing, evaluating, and monitoring Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commerce and Industry (C&I) loan portfolios in a banking environment. Assists lending officers in researching, analyzing preparing internal opportunity memos for Senior Management review. Participates in determining the best loan structures to meet customer credit and Bank needs. Familiar with a variety of credit and lending concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. Portfolio Manager I generally work with 3+ commercial lenders with $100 million or more in average outstanding balances. One or more years' experience as a credit analyst.
